Summer 2013
iONEder - What's Happening at One Loudoun
Our Restaurants & Retailers

New Retail and Restaurants are Coming Soon!

We participated in the Annual ICSC Convention in Las Vegas and networked with fellow commercial and retail industry professionals fielding a ton of interest from international, national and many local companies looking to make One Loudoun their corporate headquarters. As many retailers and restaurateurs expressed interest in joining the likes of the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, The Fresh Market, Bar Louie, Elevation Burger, Uncle Julio’s Rio Grande Café’, and Firehouse Subs, and many others we’ll be announcing shortly.

From the very beginning the essence of One Loudoun has been to be the hub for every aspect of our busy lives. It’s an all-encompassing place and it’s so exciting to see it all become a reality. Companies in our office buildings bring patrons to our retail establishments and ultimately create new homeowners. Restaurants and shops attract new businesses and new homeowners alike. New homeowners want to move their businesses within the community in which they live. This is the very essence of new urbanism — a place that promotes a compact, walkable, mixed-use community with urban-style neighborhoods, unique shopping, entertainment and dining options, shorter commutes to and from vibrant businesses. At One Loudoun, it all works together harmoniously!

The Fresh Market: Opening 2013

For over 30 years, The Fresh Market has brought you the freshest, most delicious quality products from around the corner and around the globe. You’ll notice we’re intentionally very different from the common, giant, industrialized grocery stores; we’re a more personalized, open-air, customer centric experience inspired by a European style market. Simply put, we’re something fresh and our philosophy about how you shop and buy fresh meats, seafood, fruits and vegetables is in perfect harmony with that of a community like One Loudoun.

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema: More than your average movie theater.
Alamo Drafthouse Cinema

The Alamo Drafthouse celebrated their Grand Opening and first month’s operation as #2 in the chain in sales during the opening weekend of Iron Man III. The theater and their eclectic pub – Glass Half Full, continue to see record crowds.

Parents with infants welcome!

The Alamo Drafthouse understands that it is hard for new parents to get out for an evening on the town. That is why they offer Baby Day, for regular shows that start before 2:00pm, on Tuesday afternoons excluding National holidays and special festival screenings. Infants are welcome to these shows, and of course, are allowed in for free. For their baby day shows, they keep the lights up a bit, and the sound down a bit, so your little one never has to know they even went to the movies! Take some time for yourself, pack up the kids, and head out to the Alamo Drafthouse for some much needed entertainment!

Kid’s Camps at the Alamo

School is out and the kids need some entertainment (and I’m sure the parents could use some support). The Alamo Drafthouse at One Loudoun would like to help you out with that. All summer long we have movies every week, made for the kids and all screening are completely FREE. Check the local listings for movies and times.

Step outside of the Cinema and chill out on the plaza.

This urban environment features splash fountains and cool electronic games for the kids of all ages while the grown-ups relax under a serene umbrella or in the cozy outdoor sofas and chairs. Join the numerous families that have already discovered this fantastic hang out.
